It uses simple words step by step pictures- so for those of us who don`t know what sautà means but want to cook from scratch. I could only cook three meals when I left home. Now I can cook my favourite recipes from memory. It has good suggestions and hints like when making pesto you can cover it in olive oil and then it lasts two weeks in the fridge and how to bulk out spaghetti Bolognese. It tells you how difficult the recipe is to cook and it estimates the time it takes to prepare it and how long it takes you to cook it. I found though I usually took a bit longer than they said though.
