From the collection of Betty Anderson, legendary art director of publisher Knopf in the late 20th century; This book is about a large fish that John Krüth sees swimming in the ocean. The fish is so big that it takes up most of the view in the water. John does not know what the fish is, but he is fascinated by it. The fish keep swimming around and around, and John is not sure how it is possible for it to stay afloat. John's curiosity gets the best of him, and he decides to go find out what the fish is. He follows the fish until he finds out that it is a whale.; B & W Illustrations; 8vo.
