Contains (xi)-blank, 16 pp followed by 136 plates, some on heavy extra stock colour paper, with over one hundred caricaturists being represented including Max Beerbohm, George Cruikshank, Edmund Dulac, William Hogarth, Edward Lear, Eric Ravilious, L. Rodo, William Heath Robinson, Thomas Rowlandson, Spy, John Tenniel, Loren Stout, Henry Tonks, and Gluyas Williams.
