About the Author:
Roberta Ann Moore is a psychotherapist in private practice and an executive coach and consultant specializing in emotional intelligence in the workplace. She provides Emotional Intelligence assessments, training and talent development using the EQI 2.0 and the EQI 360, a conceptual framework developed by Dr. Reuven Bar-On. Moore has extensive experience in the corporate world, specifically in business development, marketing, accounting, internal audit and finance. She has served as a staff instructor at the St. Louis Community College, teaching courses on marketing, taxation and choice of business entity, and as a facilitator for Brian Tracy's Phoenix Seminars. She frequently lectures on the topics of emotional intelligence and passion at work. She is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 13: The Society of Consulting Psychologists, and the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT). Moore earned an Ed.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College, focusing on Family Systems Theory; an M.S. in Taxation from Fontbonne College; and an M.B.A./M.I.M. in Finance and Modern Language (French) from the American Graduate School of International Management. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame, earning a B.B.A. in Finance and Modern Language (French). Moore also earned her CPA. Residents of the St. Louis, Missouri area, Moore and her husband, Scott Schenck, spend much of their leisure time in the South Carolina low country, an area for which they feel a great affinity.
