About the Author:
JAMES F. MILLER is the identical twin brother of co-author Jerry M. Miller. He published his first book of poetry when he was 15 years old called Life, Death and Man Between. Neon Lights is his second published book of poetry. Mr. Miller was a feature story writer for the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun Times. He studied for his masters at Madill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. He holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma, a Masters in English from Central State in Edmond, Oklahoma and a Masters in Education from the University of Phoenix. He recently studied screenwriting in Colorado Springs. Mr. Miller is also a professional artist and his work has been shown and sold in juried shows.
JERRY M. MILLER is a Chicago actor, theater producer, director, playwright, and author. His previous book, Empty Space: Creating A Theater in Your Church Step-by-Step is available from Amazon or from the author. The book advocates doing theater to teach, activate, and motivate audiences to do social justice. Jerry created four theaters in churches in the Chicago Area. Jerry earned an MFA in acting from the University of South Carolina and received “Outstanding MFA Acting Candidate” by the faculty and board. Jerry is a member of Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and (EMC) complete for Actor’s Equity. Jerry received an MTH in Theology from Perkins School of Theology at S.M.U. Dallas. He is a retired ordained openly gay United Methodist Minister.
