About the Author:
Victoria Mather is a journalist and broadcaster. As travel editor of Vanity Fair she investigates hotel heavens for the stars. She has worked for the Daily Telegraph since 1986, initially as film critic and subsequently as columnist. She is a commentator for CBS and NBC television in America, worked with Ned Sherrin on BBC Radio 4's 'Loose Ends', and has a travel column, 'Victoria's Secrets', in the Telegraph's Ultratravel section. She spends her time in either London, Isle of Wight, New York or on aeroplanes. She has one Pekingese dog, one husband and fourteen Godchildren. Sue Macartney-Snape was born in Tanganyika, educated in Australia and now lives in London. She has had several sell-out exhibitions of her work and has been acclaimed as the Wodehouse of Art.
