The Monolith - Hardcover

This book is a very special one for Justin and I because it was one of our first creator-shared books we have done for DC COMICS and after all these years, we finally got the rights reverted back to us and were able to put this small collection together in a format that we felt showcased the spectacular artwork. This books idea came from when I was taking private painting classes in Brooklyn and the teacher lived in a house with two sub-basements. The second basement has a bricked up tunnel that ran under the east river and this got my imagination going to what may be in that tunnel since we found out it was used during prohibition to move booze from Brooklyn to Manhatten. This spark of an idea created what we consider one of our best projects to date.
