About the Author:
J. Michael Sims wrote this story, long ago, to read to his oldest child, Christopher. By the time Jonathan arrived, and Elizabeth, the reading had become an annual family tradition. Now, many years later, Michael still gathers the Sims clan around the tree every Christmas to read Young Claus aloud. Michael still writes and lives, bewildered by childhood, fatherhood, and earning a livelihood, in Wimberely, Texas just outside of Austin.
