The book traces the early history of Pan Am through the colorful airline brochures, timetables and baggage labels of Pan American Airways and other airlines of the Americas, primarily during the flying boat era of the 1920's and 1930's. These 62 pages of rare publicity material are featured in full color and are a feast for the eyes as well as a treasure for the aircraft historian. The author Don Thomas, a collector of airline memorabilia, photographed items from his extensive collection in an effort to share his hobby with others. There is a forward by R.E.G.
