Based on more than 10 years of research, Learning to Talk Sheep uses the common biblical image of the people of God as sheep, and the pastor or leader as their shepherd, to describe the major types of personalities and church members that every leader will encounter.  With full descriptions of the type of sheep and how they are likely to respond in common situations, the book also gives concrete guidance for leaders to work more efficiently and effectively with those they lead, and enables them to help each member of their flock achieve their full potential. While focused on pastors and the ministry context, this book will be helpful for any leader attempting to understand and better lead those under his or her charge. (added by author)
