They seek to provide proper training methods as well as inform the public of the adequate resources they need to succeed. Additionally, they have worked side by side to get her dog, Stella, into the Guinness Book of World Records for most scents alerted by a service animal. Victor’s wolf-dog, Malachi, serves as an emotional support animal. Malachi has come to be known and loved in the community and provided love and support for various men in recovery from addiction. Karis Ladewig is TPN dependent, and she uses books to escape reality. Allergies and eczema keep her inside a lot of the time. Despite these chronic illnesses, she has always been able to take joy in reading and writing. Karis has dreamed of becoming an author, so naturally she was ecstatic when Miriam Richard asked her for help in writing a book about her beloved service dog, Mazie. Karis is often low on energy, so helping to write a book was a productive past time for when she had to lay low. She loves writing from the viewpoint of animals and objects, which is how she approached her contribution to this book. After this book is published, Karis will continue writing, and she will wait to discover where this passion of hers will take her.
