Deserts - Softcover

Two books that are informative, well written and organized, clearly illustrated, and chock full of facts. The title regions are fully discussed in terms of animal inhabitants, weather conditions, people, and some of the dangers to the environment, offering amazing facts and figures. The full-color photographs are often spectacular; the maps are clearly labeled. Ecological problems are mentioned, but no moral stands are taken or value judgments made.
