Review:
"As a secondary classroom teacher for 19 years....I can attest to the 'real world' focus of this text. It deals with the reality of classroom teaching in today's society. It doesn't sugar coat or idealize the teaching profession, but prepares the student teachers for the day-to-day rewards and challenges. It is a truthful and practical text, one filled with inspiration, humor, and examples of what the teacher can expect when he/she enters his/her classroom."
