About the Author:
Jo Cotterill believes that superheroes are really important. They are what we can all aspire to be: people who use their powers to fight evil and help others. When she's not trying to change the world, Jo makes up stories in her very untidy office-come-craft room, sometimes stopping to write
music instead. Her other books include the Sweet Hearts series for Random House and the critically-acclaimed Looking at the Stars, which was nominated for the Carnegie Medal. Jo lives in Oxfordshire with her husband, daughters and two over-indulged guinea pigs. Cathy Brett has been a theatre scenic
artist, school art technician, college lecturer, fashion illustrator, packaging designer, jet-setting spotter of global trends and style consultant to the British high street. These days she loves drawing more than anything else. Ever. Except her nieces. And cake. Drawing her nieces while eating
cake would be utter bliss. Cathy lives and works in a shed/studio at the bottom of a Surrey garden.
